This is an Expaculant Production short film currently in progress. Na’á Ki’sómma means “Mother Sun”. The time frame is the early to mid-1800’s. The theme is Early America in a mountain/wooded setting in the Midwest region of North America. It is cold outside, sometime in late autumn/early winter. A Man, white, late 20’s, is chasing a wolf through the forest. The wolf is running faster and getting away from the man. The Man decides to stop, takes correct aim, and shoots and kills the wolf. The forest becomes silent with the boom of the rifle. Later that night the Man feasts on his kill in front of a warm fire and prepares to return home after a nights rest. The Man wakes during the night to a Native American Warrior sitting across from him, peacefully. The Native Warrior then says to the Man he has done a terrible thing in killing the animal. He tells the Man he will repay his debts… The film will go into post production Nov 21st. It will be posted here in the middle of December. The film will also be posted on Vimeo.com.
